Thrive Mind Therapy ("we", "our", "the App") is a wellbeing app for children, young people, and families. We take privacy seriously, particularly the privacy of children. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we store it, and your rights.
To provide the App we collect: your name and email address (for authentication), age band (5–8 / 9–12 / 13–17), child profiles you create, mood check-in entries, journal reflections, gratitude entries, module progress, and any photos you choose to add to a "Safe Place". We collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging device token so we can deliver notifications you opt in to. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase events when you subscribe.
Children aged 5–8 cannot create accounts directly — they are added as profiles under a parent or carer's account. Children aged 9–12 who self-register must provide a parent or carer's email; we send that adult a verification link, and the child's account is not activated until the parent confirms consent. We never serve advertising to children, never share children's data with third parties for advertising, and never use it for profiling.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use the data to train AI models on third-party platforms.
Data is stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Firebase Auth) in regions managed by Google. Connections use HTTPS with TLS. Access is restricted by per-user Firestore security rules.

Thrive Mind provides supportive wellbeing tools and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. It is not a crisis service. If you, your child, or someone close to you is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline. Crisis helplines are listed inside the app under "Need help now?" on the Settings screen.
